- butter
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Lightly butter 8 x 8-inch baking pan.

2In saucepan over medium heat, heat sugar, evaporated milk, salt and 2 tablespoons butter to boiling.

3Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients.

5Beat vigorously until marshmallows melt.

6Pour into pan.

7Cool, then cut into 1-inch squares.

8Makes 2 pounds.
