Marshmallow Nut Fudge

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 1/2 c.)
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 c. chopped California walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Butter an 8-inch baking pan.

2In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat sugar, undiluted milk, butter or margarine and salt to boiling.

3Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.

5Beat vigorously until marshmallows melt.

6Pour into pan; sprinkle with more chopped nuts, if desired. Cool in pan on a wire rack; cut into small squares.

7Makes about 2 pounds.
