- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 lb marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1Place the sugar, corn syrup and milk in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves.

2Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.

3In the top of a double boiler dissolve the marshmallows and butter in the 2 tablespoons of water.

4Once the marshmallows are completely melted stir in the hot syrup beating well.

5Add the vanilla.

6The sauce may be reheated in the top of a double boiler.

7Beat well before serving.
