Marshmallow Squares Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. miniature colored marshmallows
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 pkg. (6 ounce.) chocolate chips
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts
  • 1 pkg. or possibly can shredded coconut
  • 1 egg, well beaten

Directions

    Heat butter and chocolate chips.

    Don't cook.

    When cold, add in the beaten egg, vanilla, pudding sugar, nuts and marshmallows.

    Mix well.

    Grease a 7 x 11 inch cake pan and sprinkle half of the coconut on bottom of pan.

    Spread chocolate mix on coconut and smooth with spatula.

    Add in rest of coconut on top.

    Chill and when hard cut in squares.

    (You will need 1-1 1/2 c. coconut, depending on pan size.)
