  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • 45 large marshmallows
  • 5 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal

    Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat.

    Add marshmallows.

    Stir constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended.

    Remove and stir 2 to 3 minutes longer.

    Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies.
  7. 7
    Press into pan with fingers moistened with water.

    Cut into squares when cool.
