  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 3 Bananas, very ripe, peeled and mashed with fork
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2-1 cups Walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
  • 1 heaping tablespoon Millet Seed

Directions

    Preheat Oven to 350. Spray a 9X5 bread pan with oil.

    Cream butter and sugar together.

    Mix in bananas, then eggs and vanilla.

    In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add walnuts and millet seed.

    Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until well incorporated.

    Bake for one hour; check with toothpick at 50 minutes. Lower temperature to 300 and bake until toothpick comes out dry.
