Mary's Fillet

Ingredients
- 800 g filet of beef (whole piece)
- 250 g garlic butter
- 150 g fresh button mushrooms
- 50 g parsley, finely chopped
- 50 ml fresh cream
Directions

1Slice the Fillet as you would garlic bread.

2Better done when fillet is still slightly frozen.

3Butter each slice with the garlic butter.

4Sprinkle with seasoning.

5Place in a pre heated oven.

6Keep an eye on it - it should be sizzling and slightly rare inside.

7While cooking cut up mushrooms and cook in remaining garlic butter (make sure there isn't too much liquid).

8Just before serving slice fillets and plate, add a splash of fresh cream to the mushrooms, pour over the fillet.

9Sprinkle with some finely chopped parsley and serve.
