- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 2 large or 3 small eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. soft shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 c. plain flour
Directions

1Mix together yeast, water, sugar and milk.

2Let stand 1/2 hour. Add other ingredients.

3Knead well and let rise until double in warm place (about 1 hour).

4Punch down and place in refrigerator for future use.

5Shape rolls as desired and let rise until double in size.

6Bake at 350° until lightly brown.
