- 3 1/2 c. blanched almonds
- 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 to 2 egg whites
Directions

1Grind almonds very fine and combine with powdered sugar until well blended.

2Make a well in center of mixture and add unbeaten egg whites.

3Knead to a smooth consistency that does not stick when working with a spatula, then by hand.

4If it is too dry, add more egg whites.

5Paste should be moist enough to be formed into any desired shape.

6Keep paste covered while shaping, as it dries out easily.
