  • 8 potato peeled, and, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 pint single cream
  • 3 butter good knobs of
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 nutmeg optional

Directions

    Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.

    Drain and mash until smooth. Add the cream, butter, seasoning and nutmeg and mix well into your lovely mashed potato.
