Mashed Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 medium to large potatoes
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • milk (just a drop to mix potatoes or none if potatoes are moist)

Directions

    Cook potatoes as usual for mashing.

    When done, combine all ingredients and whip, using as little milk as possible.

    Mound in casserole and refrigerate overnight.

    Remove from refrigerator 3 to 4 hours before baking.

    Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for 1 hour.
