- 3 lb. Idaho potatoes
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 3 c. shredded Swiss cheese, divided
- bread crumbs (plain)
Directions

1Cut potatoes in half.

2Boil potatoes until done, but not overcooked.

3Put butter and cream in large bowl.

4Add potatoes and mash until smooth.

5Add salt to taste.

6Add 1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese; mix well.

7Put into large 9 x 13 pan.

8Top with 1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese; sprinkle with plain bread crumbs (not too heavy). Dot with butter.

9Bake at 350° until top is nice and golden.
