Mashed Rutabagas

  • 1 large rutabaga
  • water, to cover
  • 14 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper (optional)

Directions

    Peel rutabagas and slice thinly.

    Put in medium saucepan and cover with water.

    Boil until tender, 30-45 minutes.

    Mash then add heavy cream, margarine, salt and pepper
  5. 5
    Eat and enjoy.
