Ingredients

  • 1 button garlic
  • 1 rib celery
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 can flat anchovies
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 heaping tsp. Accent
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 c. salad oil

Directions

    This must be done in a blender or food processor.

    Peel garlic and cut in half.

    Scrape and slice celery.
  4. 4
    Peel onion and cut into chunks.

    Add these with anchovies, mustard, lemon juice, and everything except eggs and oil into machine and process for 5 seconds.

    Add eggs and blend again for a few seconds.

    Add oil a tablespoon at a time until 1/2 cup has been added.

    Then add a quarter cup at a time, blending well between each addition and for a few seconds after all oil has been added.

    Serve over romaine with fresh croutons.
