  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 4 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 6 qt. water
  • 1 tsp. salt

    Mix

    first 4 ingredients well.

    Roll into small balls.

    Bring water and salt to a boil.

    Drop meatballs into water.
  6. 6
    When they float to top, remove and drain.

    Put in crock-pot or loaf pan. Pour over favorite sauce and bake at 300° for 1 hour.

    (We like barbecue sauce best.)
