Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 8 slices bread
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. fat or oil
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Mix meat with bread that has been soaked in milk, wrung dry and broken into small bits.

    Add milk and eggs.

    Saute onions in oil until tender.

    Add with seasoning to meat mixture.

    Stir in cheese.

    Form into small balls and roll in flour.

    Saute in oil in which onions were sauteed.

    Fry until slightly browned and drop in Oregon Sauce.

    Cook 1/2 hour

    or until done.
