- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1 qt. water
- 1 onion, fried in 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 lb. hamburger
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1In a large kettle, pour tomato juice and water.

2When boiling, add balls of the remaining ingredients.

3Simmer for three hours. Can also be cooked in a slow oven at 325° for about 2 hours. Makes 20 large meat balls.
