  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 pound bulk italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup bran Unprocessed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Mix all ingredients together well.

    Place 1/3 cup (2 oz.) mixture in each of 16 muffin cups. Bake at 350F. until done, about 1 hour. Remove from muffin tins. Serve hot or cold.
