  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, lean
  • 1/2 pound hot italian sausages
  • 1/2 cup onions minced
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage dried
  • 1 cup applesauce unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs, whole wheat
  • 1/2 cup bran unprocessed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350F (180C).

    Mix all ingredients together well.

    Place 13 cup mixture in each of 16 muffin cups.

    Bake at 350F (180C).

    until done, about 1 hour.

    Remove from muffin tins.

    Serve hot or cold.
