- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, salt and pepper.

3Mix well and shape into a flat rectangle, about 10 x 12 inches, on a piece of wax paper. Sprinkle cheese evenly over meat mixture.

4Starting with the shortest end, roll up jelly roll fashion and press ends of roll to seal.
