- 2 or more c. water (according to amount of broth and if salty)
- small amount chopped onion
- cornmeal
Directions

1Add water to broth of ham.

2Add onion.

3Cook with broth until onion is tender.

4Add cornmeal a little at a time until thickened. Stop adding meal before too dry.

5If thick enough after it is chilled, can be sliced and fried until brown.
