Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. horseradish
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. onion
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 7 or 8 slices bread
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    Put dry bread in cold water to soak.

    Dice onion to make about 1/4 cup, then saute until golden brown; set aside.

    Beat eggs with fork, then mix with meat.

    Add all ingredients, except bread.

    Mix well.

    Hand squeeze the moisture out of the bread, crumble and add to the mixture.

    If too wet, add a few bread crumbs.

    Shape into loaf.

    Place in greased baking pan.

    Bake at 400° for about 45 minutes.

    Unbaked mixture can be divided and stored in freezer. Cut baking time for smaller loaves.
