Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. Accent (monosodium glutamate)
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix, dry
- 3/4 c. ripe tomato catsup
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 c. thick tomato juice or tomato puree
Directions

1Mix all but last ingredient well and shape into a loaf.

2Place in a loaf pan or casserole dish.

3Pour tomato juice or puree over loaf.

4Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

5Cover pan with lid or foil while baking.

6Remove covering for the last 10 to 15 minutes of baking time.
