- 4 can Tomato Sauce
- 1 lb Ground Turkey or Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, chopped
- tbsp Fresh or Dried Basil
- 1 cup Red Wine
Directions

1Brown Ground Meat in a large pot.

2Salt and pepper meat to your taste.

3Add onion and cook until onion becomes translucent

4Add wine and cook about one minute

5Add all 4 regular size cans of tomato sauce.

6Rinse each can with a splash of water and add to pot.

7Salt and pepper sauce to your taste.

8If using dried basil, add now.

9You can adjust basil amount to your tatse.

10Bring to a boil, turn to low and let simmer partly covered for 3.5 hours stirring occasionally.

11If using fresh basil, add for last 30 minutes.

12You can put sauce directly onto cooked pasta.

13Use for a lasagna or lasagna roll ups.
