  • 1 bag (32 Pieces In A Package) Frozen Meatballs Of Your Choice
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
  • 3/4 cups Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 jar (26 Oz. Jar) Your Favorite Marinara Sauce
  • Salt To Taste
  • Pepper To Taste
  • Garlic Powder, To Taste
  • Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cups Sugar (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 package (8 Oz. Package) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 package Sub Rolls

    Preheat broiler.

    Heat oil in a large sauce pan over medium-high heat.

    Chop onions and slice mushrooms, then add to the skillet.

    Let onion soften and mushrooms start to brown.

    Meanwhile, place meatballs on a paper-towel-lined plate and microwave according to the directions on the package.

    When onions are soft, open marinara sauce and add to the vegetables.

    Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Stir in sugar (optional, I like a sweet sauce).

    Add cooked meatballs to the sauce.

    Let bubble for 7-10 minutes, so the meatballs can season the sauce.

    Split open four sub rolls and arrange on a cookie sheet.

    Spoon meatballs and sauce onto one side of the sub roll.

    Cover with grated cheese and shredded mozzarella.
