- 1 can pineapple chunks
- 3 slices of bread
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 3/4 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Drain pineapple and save juice.

2Let chunks dry; soak bread in juice and squeeze out.

3Mix bread, meat, eggs and onion salt. Shape in balls that enclose the pineapple chunks.

4Brown slowly in butter and oil, shaking pan to keep balls round.

5Drain fat and blend juice with remaining ingredients.

6Pour mixture over meatballs and cook for 10 minutes or until sauce boils or thickens.

7Serve in chafing dish.
