  • 1 lb ground veal
  • 1 large onion, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or buttermilk)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (more as needed)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (I prefer spicy jalapeno ketchup)
  • 3 (2 ounce) packets lipton onion and mushroom soup mix (each box contains two 2-oz packets)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Kitchen Bouquet (Browning and Seasoning Sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
