Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground venison or beef
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/3 c. tomato paste
  • 1 (2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano, crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Put meat, milk, bread crumbs and garlic salt in 9-inch pie plate.

    Mix together with a fork. Pat mixture evenly onto bottom and sides of plate.

    Spread tomato paste over meat.

    Drain mushrooms and put over paste.
  5. 5
    Top with Cheddar cheese and over this sprinkle oregano.

    Sprinkle Parmesan over all.

    Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until meat is done and cheese is lightly browned.
