- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Beat margarine at medium speed.

2Gradually add sugar, beating well.

3Add eggs and vanilla.

4Mix well.

5Combine flour, soda and salt.

6Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

7Stir in pecans.

8Shape dough into 2 (16-inch) rolls, wrap in wax paper and chill at least 4 hours.

9Cut in 1/3-inch slices.

10Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

11Bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes.

12Cool on wire racks.
