- 1 c. rice
- 1/2 onion
- 2 c. water
- 1/8 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- few green peppers
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
Directions

1Brown onion and rice in canola oil until light brown.

2Add water, cumin and garlic powder.

3Cook rice mix for about 10 minutes.

4Add tomato sauce and green peppers and cook about 5 minutes.

5Check rice to see if it is done.

6Turn off.

7Rice will soak up water.

8Cover; let stand.
