Ingredients

  • 2 cans tamales, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic or 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 can hominy, drained
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup or mushroom
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 c. American cheese, shredded

Directions

    Cook ground meat (stirring so it doesn't stick together) with onion and garlic, until it is just done.

    Mix with all ingredients in a large casserole dish.

    Bake at 450° for 30 minutes, until it's bubbly hot.

    Be sure tamales and hominy are drained well.
