Ingredients

  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1/2 c. medium picante sauce
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cumin

Directions

    Mix shredded cheeses together.

    Combine sour cream, cream cheese, beans, picante sauce, chili powder and cumin.

    Mix thoroughly by hand or electric mixer.

    Spread half of the mixture on the bottom of a square baking dish.

    Cover with half the shredded cheese mixture.

    Add remaining bean mixture and top with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until heated through.

    Serve with tortilla chips.

    Also can serve with side of guacamole and side of tomatoes.
