- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. Karo light or dark syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Combine eggs, sugar, flour, syrup, butter and vanilla.

3Blend well.

4Pour into unbaked shell.

5Arrange pecans on top.

6Bake in lower part of oven for 15 minutes.

7Reduce temperature to 350°.

8Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until center appears set.

9Cool completely.
