- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium green pepper, diced
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, diced
- 1 can red kidney beans
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown ground beef, onion and pepper in a large skillet, using a fork to break up meat.

2Mix chili powder and hot water; pour over meat mixture.

3Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

4Add cheese, beans with juice, salt and pepper.

5Simmer until cheese melts.

6Be careful not to let burn.
