  • 1 1/2 c. corn meal
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 small bell pepper, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 3 small diced jalapeno peppers

    Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Add milk, oil, eggs, corn, onion and peppers. Mix well. Stir in cheese. Bake in greased pan at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes, until well browned and top of bread is dry.
