- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. creamed corn
- 1/3 c. chopped Italian-style Italian peppers
- 1 c. flour
- 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. corn meal
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add and beat into mixture one egg at a time.

3Mix in creamed corn, peppers, cheese and milk.

4Sift dry ingredients into mixture.

5Mix just enough to blend well.

6Turn into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 40 minutes in preheated oven at 325°.
