  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. creamed corn
  • 1/3 c. chopped Italian-style Italian peppers
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. corn meal

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add and beat into mixture one egg at a time.

    Mix in creamed corn, peppers, cheese and milk.

    Sift dry ingredients into mixture.

    Mix just enough to blend well.

    Turn into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 40 minutes in preheated oven at 325°.
