- 4 eggs
- 1 large can creamed corn
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. oil
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 2 Tbsp. (rounded) chopped green chilies
- 6 slices cheese
Directions

1Mix eggs, corn, oil, onion, chilies and corn meal.

2Add enough water to make the batter thin enough to spread in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan that has been greased and floured.

3Pour 1/2 of the batter in the pan and then place the 6 slices of cheese on the batter.

4Pour the remaining mixture to cover the cheese completely.

5Cook at 375° until golden brown.
