  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 cup creamed corn
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
