- 1 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 to 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped (number of peppers according to taste)
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together.

2Pour into well-greased, hot iron frying pan.
