  • 1 c. cornmeal, yellow
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/3 c. shortening, melted
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 8 oz. (1 can) cream corn
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 oz. (1 can) green chiles, chopped (drained)
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

    Blend together cornmeal, salt and soda.

    Stir in shortening. Add sour cream, corn and eggs.

    Mix well.

    Pour into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
