  • 1 c. cornmeal mix
  • 1/3 c. bacon grease
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 can cream-style corn
  • 1 small can green chilies
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • chopped onion (about 1/2 of medium onion)
  • jalapeno peppers, chopped (depending on how hot desired; approximately 1/4 c.)

    Mix all together and pour into a hot skillet with bacon grease. Bake at 375° about 35 to 40 minutes.
