  • 1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 no. 2 can cream style corn
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. ground hambuger meat
  • 1 lb. longhorn cheese, grated
  • finely chopped jalapeno peppers

Directions

    Mix cornbread, milk, oil, eggs, corn, baking powder, and salt together.

    Brown hambuger meat and drain.

    Pour half the batter into greased pan.

    Then add grated cheese and peppers over mixture.

    Then pour the remaining batter on top.

    Bake for about 1 hour, in 350° oven.
