  • 1 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (No. 303) can creamed corn
  • 1 lb. ground meat, sauteed and drained
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 canned jalapeno peppers, diced

Directions

    Place large, heavy skillet in the oven with some grease or oil or shortening.

    Mix all ingredients.

    When grease in skillet is very hot, pour in mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
