- 1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 8 oz. cream-style corn
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 2 large pods hot green peppers, chopped
- 1 large sweet pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 c. grated Colby cheese or Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together, except cheese.

2Pour 1/2 of batter into a well-greased and floured skillet.

3Sprinkle in cheese (make sure none of the cheese touches the edge of the pan), then pour in rest of batter.

4Cook at 375° until golden brown, 45 to 50 minutes.
