  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
