- 2 medium or 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. cheese, grated
- 1 c. peppers, chopped
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 c. corn, drained
- pimento, chopped (optional)
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together, add the rest of the ingredients to it and mix well.

2Bake in skillet or muffin tins at 450° until done.

3This can also be used to make hushpuppies.

4Just drop by spoonsful into hot oil and cook.
