  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 3 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. meat drippings
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and cooled
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 brick Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 hot jalapeno pepper, diced

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together but 1 cup Cheddar cheese.

    Pour into hot iron skillet, then add rest of cheese on top.

    Bake for 1 hour or until done at 400°.
