Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 large hot pepper (use more or less as you prefer)
  • 1/2 pod sweet bell pepper
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheese

    Mix all ingredients together except cheese.

    Spray 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking

    pan with Pam.

    Pour batter into pan.

    Top with cheese.

    Bake at 375° for about 30 minutes or until cheese is browned.

    Bread will be very moist.
