  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 small can Ortega brand green chili peppers
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except cheese and peppers and pour into greased 8 x 10-inch pan.

    Sprinkle chili peppers on top of batter. Add grated cheese and bake at 400° for 45 minutes.
