  • 1 1/4 c. self-rising cornmeal mix
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. creamed corn (small can)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. green pepper
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix all ingredients together and pour into a long pan or two pie pans greased with melted bacon grease. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
